On 18th April at the Royal Courts of Justice there will be a permission hearing for the case of Contempt of Court against Trudi Warner. For those able to travel to London, there will be a mass sign holding and a huge show of solidarity with Trudi, whose action in holding up a sign about juries rights kick started the whole Defend our Juries campaign.

However the solidarity will reach much further than London! Previous National Days of Action have involved sign holding outside half of the Crown Courts in England and Wales. During this week, we’re going to see if it is possible to sit and inform the public of the rights of juries at every one. Some areas may also organise outreach events, away from courts - from traditional handing out of leaflets to street theatre.
