Wisbech Without Incineration is
campaigning against a mega incinerator that MVV, a German based company, want to build in Wisbech. If built, the incinerator will emit toxins from two
chimneys more than a 100 feet taller than Ely Cathedral, all very close to three schools
including the main secondary school. There will be over 384 lorry movements
daily, bringing waste within a 200 mile radius, causing further disruption and
pollution not just to our small market town but to the surrounding villages.
We are a group of residents campaigning against the incinerator. We always need more help with the campaign, social media, admin, talking to Councils, out and about occasionally with the campaign team - all skills!
Together we are stronger, and together we believe we can win against the proposed mega incinerator.
