Mayor Adams has proposed $58.3 million in cuts to NYC libraries for Fiscal Year 2025. These continued, unpredictable and unsustainable cuts will impact library access for everyone in New York City, and leave staff desperately trying to maintain services with fewer resources. It can't continue, we can only do less with less.

Please sign up for advocacy alerts from Urban Librarians Unite, we will reach out with new info and actions as the budget season progesses.
