Running a stall is very rewarding, great fun and local people really do welcome the opportunity to express their concerns.

The aim of the stalls is to raise public awareness about a range of topics such as FPTP and PR, voter ID, the democratic deficit, the Compass Win As One campaign, and, closer to the general election, also to provide tactical voting guidance in some constituencies.

Compass can provide guidance and all the resources you’ll need for engaging people – leaflets, banners, QR codes plus ideas for a ‘democracy metre’. If you’re happy to talk to people, that’s great. Or if you’d prefer just to hand out material that would also be great.
