This is sickening: Donald Trump’s “Big Lie” about the 2020 presidential election is still putting everyday Americans in real danger -- especially those who work day in and day out to run our elections.

We already knew that these conspiracy theories were dangerous. They incited a violent mob to launch a horrific attack on our Capitol in January that left several dead.

But even now, months after the election -- election workers have revealed that they and their families are still receiving regular harassment and threats from those who believe Trump and his allies’ lies.

That’s right: Trump and GOP lawmakers' relentless -- and demonstrably false -- claims that the vote was “rigged” against him have sparked a campaign to terrorize election workers nationwide. This includes not just senior officials, but also low-level volunteers and poll workers who work tirelessly to run free and fair elections, often for little or no pay.

According to a new report, some have faced protests at their homes or been followed in their cars. Many have received death threats -- and others have been subject to racist attacks. [1]
