I'm ready to make changes in my workplace
As state employees, we are proud of the work we do to keep our state running. But there are many changes in the workplace we would like to see.
State employees now have the right to collective bargaining and AFSCME members are coming together to build up our union.
Collective bargaining will allow us to negotiate over policies and procedures at work that have currently led to understaffing, unsafe workplace conditions, and insufficient resources for us to do our job. We will also be able to negotiate better wages, fair hiring and promotional processes.
