Inhabitants: Film Screening and Discussion. Thursday, March 6, 2:30-4:30 ET // 1:30-3:30 CT
Exclusive Screening for any member of a Focus Community or LJ Network Community (ie, not just the team of 3-5!)
Join us to watch Inhabitants, a 75-minute feature documentary that follows five Native American tribes across deserts, coastlines, forests, and prairies in the United States as they restore their traditional land management practices. Find out why Indigenous people - who make up only 5% of the world's population - are stewards of 80% of the world's biodiversity!
After the film, we will reflect and discuss together why ecological and racial healing are necessarily intertwined, and how both are rooted in land justice!
Note: As the screening license only covers a limited number of viewers, we ask that you please register only if you are a vowed member, associate, or staff of a community who has joined our Focus Community Program or Land Justice Network.
Can't come Thursday afternoon? Click HERE to register for Wednesday evening's screening!
