We believe that good information is the lifeblood of democracy - so juries can only fulfil their constitutional role if they understand the full context for people’s actions, and are empowered to act on their conscience. Only then do they bring the moral sense of ordinary people into the courtroom, as a vital safeguard against the abuse of power, and corruption of our politicians and our judiciary.
