Our internship program gives you the opportunity to take your education out of the classroom, do hands-on work, learn important skills, and make a difference. All while getting course credit.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE

At Rutgers-New Brunswick, we're working on:

Plastics

• New Jerseyans use 4.4 billion plastic bags every year. They're filling up our coastlines, our beaches, even our streets. It's time we step up and tell our campus and cities to move away from single use plastics.

100% Renewable, 100% Do-able

• Join our campaign to get Rutgers to commit to running on 100% renewable electricity by 2030.

Zero Hunger, Zero Waste

• It is absurd for any student to be unsure of where they can get their next meal when the resources to feed them go unused. We have what we need to end hunger. If we redirect resources that go unused to those who can use them, we can reduce waste and achieve zero hunger.

New Voters Project

• From RAs having voter registration forms at your first floor meeting to busing students to the polls, there's so much we can do to make voting easier at Rutgers. Intern with our voter registration institutionalization campaign to make it happen.

Save Antibiotics!

• The threat is real, and it's here. Join our work to stop the overuse of live-saving medicine by getting major restaurant chains to stop serving meat raised with the routine use of antibiotics.

Run your own local project to tackle a public interest issue in your community!
