There is a mental health crisis unfolding across Britain. Around 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem each year, including a staggering 2.6 million young people struggling with issues like anxiety, depression and eating disorders.

Many patients are stuck on years-long waiting lists. Others are sent to facilities hundreds of miles away from home, and a postcode lottery means that treatment is just not available for so many. Even those whose life is on the line are regularly denied care.
