California Climate Health Now is a coalition of medical doctors and health professionals in California working to raise awareness about how climate change is a health-risk multiplier, causing human sickness and suffering here and now. Fulfilling our professional responsibility to prevent illness we cannot treat, we work to address the climate crisis health emergency by educating our colleagues in the health professions, the public and lawmakers with the goal of compelling swift and effective greenhouse gas emissions reductions. Our mission is to ensure environmental justice for all-- starting with frontline communities harmed most by pollution and climate change, which simultaneously protects all of our health in this unprecedented era of climate change.
