Let’s continue to build on the progress toward addressing systemic problems in American healthcare we’ve made with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. President Biden is going to bat for our patients—taking on Big Pharma by capping the price of insulin and allowing Medicare to negotiate prescription drug prices—while ensuring more people are able to find affordable, quality healthcare. Under his watch, more Americans than ever before are enrolled in health insurance. But it goes beyond that; he’s fighting for healthcare professionals across the country, too. Be it by providing $200 million for the Nurse Corps program to help repay nursing education debt for nurses in critical shortage facilities, or investing $800 million in the National Health Service Corps to provide loan forgiveness and scholarships to those of us working in areas with health professional shortages. We banded together to make all of this possible, and we need to keep pushing forward.
