We know that legislators don’t hear enough from their constituents about the climate crisis. Together, we are changing that.  All 11 of our organizations are collaborating to ensure that WA State legislators hear from as many voices as possible, urging them to act for climate, justice and an equitable society.

Once you join the 350 WA - Civic Action Team, you will start receiving two emails a week during the legislative session (January - March 2024).* These emails will provide you with…

• Easy-to-digest information on where important climate bill are in the legislative process

• Links & templates to contact your legislators about specific bills at critical moments when they need support to move forward (or be opposed)

• Step by step instructions and links to use the Washington State legislative website advocacy tools

• Opportunities to meet with your legislators and take your advocacy further

It’s our hope that by making it as easy as possible for you to contact your legislator and ask them to pass important climate bills, we can dramatically increase the number of contacts that our legislators receive about the climate crisis this session.

Last year, we collectively took 37,927 individual advocacy actions on policy during the legislative session! And we worked with partner organizations to connect folks with opportunities for even deeper advocacy. This year, we’re hoping to support even more great advocacy.
