For years we fought for one contract for University System of Maryland (USM) schools. We won by changing the law!

Now we have to prepare- Join H.E.A.T. now!

We have finally won the right to have one contract for all USM universities. This impacts all higher ed members. We need to get ready for negotiations.

As a member of HEAT I will:

• Work to build my union by signing up new members
• Mobilize my co-workers to support the union.
• Communicate to my coworkers about the union and I will listen to my coworkers and communicate back to my union.
• Make sure our current union contract is respected
• Fight until we win a great consolidated contract

I commit to being a member of HEAT (Higher Ed Action Team).

I will work and fight for a fantastic contract with the USM.
