Right now, the Utah Poor People’s Campaign is a scrappy group of organizers building relationships state-wide with people and organizations interested in our campaign.

We’re working to create a movement of movements that connects the dots between people’s personal experiences with systemic racism, poverty, the war economy, and ecological devastation, to an analysis of how these experiences are interconnected, and a collective problem rooted in an immoral system that prioritizes profit over life. We hope to mobilize enough people across lines of division (race, age, gender, sexuality, religion, etc.), to use political education, electoral organizing, and direct action to influence public discourse and culture on these issues, along with policies and elections.
