Join the WGAE Career Longevity Salon
The Career Longevity Salon is an affinity group of writers over the age of 50 within the WGAE. After a the WGAE’s Committee for Equity and Inclusion’s panel “OK Boomer: Fighting Ageism in the Entertainment Industry", we realized that we had just scratched the surface.
This salon’s focus is longevity in the workplace—and we both tap the expertise of members who’ve created that in their workspaces and hear from those who have not. Members working in film, TV, news and digital are invited to explore ways of extending their work-life within the Salon.
We want to have a good time with colleagues who’ve been around the sun more than twice and have some good stories to share. So, join us! It’ll be fun.
Membership is open to all WGAE members over 50.
