Citizens UK have been campaigning to make misogyny a hate crime in the UK.

But we can't do this alone — we need your support to help change the lives of everyone who experiences misogyny in our communities.

The Law Commission announced on 23rd September 2020 that they recommend misogyny to be recorded as a hate crime. This couldn't have happened without the tireless work of leaders across the UK campaigning in their communities.

We have a once in a generation chance to shape hate crime laws, improve policing practice and ensure women and all people affected by hate  —  get the protection they deserve.
