Journalism is under attack. Sign up to defend Julian Assange!

Julian Assange's extradition hearings in the UK are starting again on September 7th. If Assange ends up in the U.S., he will face 175 years in prison.

Assange, like other journalists, is known for exposing the truth about human rights abuses and war crimes committed by the United States across the world. If he is tried and convicted, there are potentially disastrous implications for journalists, whistle blowers, and all American citizens who uncover and speak out about injustices.

The Defend Assange campaign is working to generate a national network of Americans dedicated to public advocacy for journalists, First Amendment rights, and stopping the Assange indictment.

Join Lady Gaga, Noam Chomsky, and so many more in demanding justice in defense of Julian Assange.
