We have successfully crowdfunded a prize for a competition to find the best crowdsourced video showing why SuperPACs are not protected by the First Amendment.

The contest will ask creators to distill the legal argument explained in a stem file into whatever creative form most effectively demonstrates that argument. The argument in the stem file is based on the argument presented by Free Speech for People in the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.

Our initial goal was $50,000. We’ve hit that goal. We’ll launch the competition on July 17.
