Let's end for-profit "education."

When profit is your bottom line, students aren't.

By now, you've probably heard of the rampant fraud and abuse in the for-profit school industry. From the profitable online charter companies that barely even keep track of their students, to the for-profit colleges that engage in predatory lending, these schools have amassed a shameful record in relatively little time.

But even when not engaging in outright fraud, should CEOs be pocketing the tax dollars we devote to our children's learning? Or should 100% of those funds be designated for the people and resources that help students become their best selves?

Should businessmen decide our schools' and our communities' futures behind closed doors? Or should we the people create our vision for our futures, via democratic processes that we control?

We believe that schools are a public good, not private profit centers. If you agree, sign on to join our campaigns to end for-profit "education."
