Lisa Calderón's First 100 Days as Mayor

Our first 100 days.

We're exactly 2 weeks out from Election Day, & my team and I are working hard to reach every voter. At the same time, let’s take a moment to move past the noise of the election and look forward to Denver’s future.

Our city is at a crossroads. We face serious issues that are impacting people’s daily lives.#ItsTime to bring people together to find solutions that we can all support. In my first 100 days in office, I will do just that, by:

- Coordinating resources to get people off of the streets and into emergency supportive housing.

- Restructuring the safety department to reduce top-heavy administrative positions and redirect those resources into services.

- Deploying technologies to synchronize traffic signals to reduce congestion, while investing in mass transit options.

- Preserving and expanding open space by protecting our parks from development and prioritizing environmental sustainability.

- Creating a comprehensive housing fund to invest in affordable and workforce housing.

- Transforming the public-private-partnership(P3) office into P4s to give people an equal say in the future development of Denver.

- Restructuring the Office of Economic Development to focus on supporting small businesses.

- Collaborating with City Council to increase transparency and accountability for elected officials.
Increasing the morale of city workers by appointing a cabinet-level labor liaison, and strengthening worker protections.

- Engaging our regional partners on issues of common concern including affordable housing, transportation, and environmental sustainability.

It’s time for a new era of leadership that puts residents, workers, and the environment first. It’s time we have a leader who brings everyone together to work on comprehensive solutions for the greater good.

If you share my vision for Denver, please show your support with a donation today. In order to bring real change and leadership to our city, I need win on Election Day, and I need your help to get there. https://secure.actblue.com/donate/aprillc1
