LOG YOUR CALL: These hyperpartisan attempts to strip Pennsylvanians of their right to vote are unacceptable

The Pennsylvania Senate is just one day away from passing a massive $92 million anti-voter package -- already passed by the House, this bill would make it significantly more difficult for Pennsylvanians to cast a ballot.

There’s a lot our state could do with $92 million -- invest in our children’s educations, spend on infrastructure, or help care for our senior citizens. Funding legislation that would make it harder for Pennsylvanians to vote should not be a priority.

In fact, Pennsylvania has real problems to solve if we want every voter to have access to the ballot. We don’t need to invent problems -- largely founded on baseless conspiracy theories about our election systems -- so we can institute misguided “solutions” that only obstruct the voting process more.

Tell your state senator that these hyper-partisan efforts to strip Pennsylvanians of our right to vote are unacceptable and should NOT be passed. Find your lawmaker's phone number here, then log your call.

Here’s an idea of what to say: “My name is [Your Name] and I live in [Your Town]. I believe that our government ‘by the people’ is stronger when more people participate in it, and House Bill 1300 would limit that participation, particularly among Black, young, and new voters. Please vote against this bill.”
