A special round of renegotiations of the failed North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) is happening Dec. 11–16 in Washington D.C. Corporations are fighting to preserve the special privileges they get under NAFTA that make it easier to outsource jobs to Mexico, where they can take advantage of lax labor standards and lower wages. We’re joining with our allies all across the country for a call-in day on Wednesday, Dec. 13, to urge Congress to demand that NAFTA renegotiations put working people ahead of corporations.
