Maryland needs you - become a Maryland NORML county leader!

The Maryland state affiliate chapter of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML) seeks a core team of dedicated reformers to support our work through the 2022 General Assembly Legislative Session (Jan-April, 2022). Averages around 5-10 hrs of unpaid volunteer efforts per month.


Position 1: Director, Legislative Affairs

Responsible for (1) validating candidate information on #smokethevote (vote.norml.org/states/MD) and (2) having candidates complete our cannabis policy survey.

Position 2: Director, Membership

Responsible for (1) identifying reputable speakers capable of advocating legalization policies with the County/Municipal Council and (2) volunteer ~5-10 hours per/month (make phone calls, schedule appointments, attend events, etc.).


The volunteer positions are open to any Maryland resident of voting age. We look forward to your response!
