Health and Safety Committees (Referred to in the Yukon as “Joint Health and Safety Committees,” and in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut as “Joint Occupational Health and Safety committees”) – made up of employer/manager and worker representatives – work cooperatively to identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions to eliminate or control those hazards.
