MTA: We need a pay study!

MTA Management:

We, the undersigned, hereby request a pay study of all supervisory-level TSHRS employees in the MTA.

TSHRS Section 9B.6 allows management to implement a study of employee wages based on recruitment and retention factors, external and internal inequity, market data, and other factors.

We, the undersigned, face internally and externally unequal and demoralizing levels of wage compression, meaning that those we supervise are paid close to, equal to, or more than ourselves.

Further, new hires into supervisory positions often start at higher wages than veteran supervisors.

This is why we request a pay study for all supervisory-level TSHRS employees in the MTA.
