William Emanuel, nominated to the NLRB, is a union-busting lawyer who has devoted his career to helping bosses screw workers. Marvin Kaplan, also nominated to the NLRB, worked as a staffer in Congress to strip union rights from workers on Native American lands. And Patrick Pizzella, the nominee for Deputy Secretary of Labor, worked with disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff to protect sweatshop owners in the Northern Mariana Islands who were keeping workers as slaves and forcing women and children into prostitution.
