Organize to Protect and Expand Medicaid: National Call-In Day to Congress

The Nonviolent Medicaid Army is letting Congress know that Medicaid Cuts = Death. Join us on Monday March 10 and March 17.

25 million people were purged from Medicaid in the last two years of the Biden Administration.

Now, the Trump administration plans to use Medicaid funding to pay for tax cuts.

Billions of our tax dollars go to war profiteers, and now they want to take more?

The Nonviolent Medicaid Army knows Medicaid Cuts = Death

We must Organize to Protect and Expand Medicaid. Healthcare is a Human Right!

On Tuesday February 25th the House passed a budget resolution directing the House Energy and Commerce Committee to find $880 billion in cuts by a narrow 2-vote margin. Although the resolution doesn't mention Medicaid, since this committee oversees Medicaid and Medicare, the intentions are clear. As of now we are still at the beginning of the budget reconciliation process. House committees have until March 26th to make specific proposals for cuts. Now is the time to hold all power-holders accountable!

Somebody's been hurting our people, it's gone on far too long, and we won't be silent anymore.

  • By signing up for a call-in day, you will receive a call script and the information for how to contact your members of Congress. Your calls should take approximately 15 minutes.
  • You will also receive an invitation to join us on a national zoom event where we will practice and then make our calls but you're also free to do your calls on your own. This will take place at noon (and will last one hour) in your time zone.

The Nonviolent Medicaid Army is active in Georgia, Indiana, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Wisconsin, Wyoming, and Vermont. Join us, or connect with us to start a chapter in your state!
