Organizing for Power

Faced with multiple global crises - the COVID pandemic, climate change, economic inequality, and rising far-right violence - this is a crucial time for people around the world to start politically organizing for change.
It seems like People Power is the answer - but what does that mean exactly? What is Power? Who has it? How do we build it? How do we use it?
In this in-person workshop we'll provide participants with a framework for understanding the politics of Power. We'll also provide an overview of the Community Organizing methodology and Campaign Cycle.
This workshop will be of use to anyone considering getting involved in activism, organizing, or campaigning, or to those who are experienced activists but are open to new approaches / a refresher. No previous campaign experience required - just the will to change things.
