Our money vs. their mouths

If you are receiving this note, you have already shown support for striking workers at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. We appreciate your solidarity. And it has not been in vain.

In fact, the strength of our strike has forced Block Communications Inc. back to the bargaining table for the first time since 2020! This is a testament to the power we have all built together.

But when the Blocks sit down with us on Monday, Nov. 14, we want them to feel even more pressure than they currently do — to do the right thing, bargain fairly for a new contract, and for us to win the caliber of news our community deserves.

Here's How You Can Help

1. In the form on this screen, pledge to cancel your subscription (if you have not already) if the company fails to meet us in good faith on Monday.

OR

2. In the same form on this screen, pledge to subscribe once our demands are met. We know they're crucial to providing you and your neighbors the news you deserve.

If you have already canceled your subscription, we still need you to fill out the pledge.

During this time, please read our strike publication, The Pittsburgh Union Progress, where many of the region's best journalists are still covering Pittsburgh's news.

In Solidarity,
