To All Members of Parliament: Sack the NSW Treasurer over the injured workers scandal

NSW Treasurer, Dominic Perrottet, siphoned money meant for injured workers to pay the salary of his own political staff. This is immoral and it's time for him to resign.

This was discovered after two weeks of damning revelations about the injured workers insurance agency, icare, which Treasurer Dominic Perrottet is responsible for. Treasurer Perrottet has insisted that that he is "proud" of icare and that it's doing a "superb job":

- icare underpaid up to 52,000 sick and injured workers up to $80 million (one of the largest wage theft cases in Australian history)
- the icare CEO resigned after it was revealed that his wife was awarded a government contract and he failed to declare a trip to a Las Vegas party paid for by a government contractor
- icare failed to disclose 77 contracts, worth almost $157 million, within the legally required timeframe. One of these contracts was awarded to the son of an icare consultant who also holds shares in the winning company
- A leaked document shows thefts of taxi vouchers and cash, and technology and credit card fraud. However, icare management never referred this to police
- five years ago icare had $4 billion surplus, but after years of mismanagement it is now at risk of insolvency
- icare secretly tried to cut off payments to thousands of injured workers to make up for their dire financial situation
- total icare executives pay has soared from $600k to $18 million in just 4 years.
Despite this and other allegations the NSW treasurer Dominic Perrottet awarded the icare executive team bonus pay. He is clearly not fit for the job of NSW Treasurer. He must resign or be sacked.
