Pledge to vote in 2021!

Our voices matter. Our Asian Pacific Islander Desi American voices matter. Our youth and young people matter, our queer and trans community matter. We all deserve to belong, to live and to thrive because there is enough for everyone -- no exceptions.

After a tumultuous year where more than 20 million people in the U.S. lost jobs and internships and over half a million lost their lives to COVID-19, we know that 2021 is just as crucial of an election as the previous year. We know that this is the year where we can hold our elected leaders accountable. This is when we can tell them we support their work or we think they need a new job.

In Minnesota, there will be a Primary Election for some cities on August 10 and the General Municipal Election on November 2. Seats up for re-election include: mayoral, city council, and school board. There will also be ballot referendums up for vote.

Take the pledge with us and pledge to vote this year.

What is pledging?
Pledging is a commitment to taking action. By pledging with AAOP, it allows us to follow up and provide updates and remind you to vote.
