Pledge to Vote YES for MASSPIRG in the SGA Elections at UML

MASSPIRG is a statewide, student-directed, non-partisan, organization. For almost 50 years, we’ve worked to mobilize students on campus to do research, advocacy, education, and service on a variety of issues including environmental protection, public health, youth voter mobilization, affordable higher education, and poverty relief efforts. MASSPIRG chapters across the state pool resources and hire a staff of professionals to work with students on issues that concern us as community members. MASSPIRG started at UML in 1978, when students first voted to form and fund a chapter.

I support the continued existence of the MASSPIRG chapter at UMass Lowell funded through a $11 per student, per semester waivable fee. I will vote YES for MASSPIRG in the upcoming Student Government Elections on April 13th and April 14th, 2021.

For more information about the MASSPIRG fee check out our chapter's website.

Thank you for signing this pledge to vote yes! We'll be sure to remind you when and how to cast your vote in the SGA elections when we get closer. Voting will occur online on April 13th and April 14th, 2021
