PRACTICE PICKETS OCTOBER 13 AND 16
Richmond Community Services thinks they can play games with your life — laws and morals be damned.
The union demands a living wage — no one should have to work more than 40 hours per week to survive. We demand fair, transparent, respectful wages.
Richmond proposed and refused to move on a disrespectful 1.25% pay increase. If you currently make the minimum $16.50/hour, 1.25% is 20¢/hour. If you currently make $20/hour, 1.25% is 25¢/hour. That is not a living wage.
You deserve respect. You deserve to not struggle to get by. One Job Should Be Enough. Practice together for a strike by having a practice picket before your shift, after your shift, on your breaks, or on your days off on:
Friday, October 13 at 919 N. Broadway, Yonkers from 5:30am – 8am and from 1pm – 4pm
and
Monday, October 16 at 272 N Bedford, Mt. Kisco from 7am – 8:25am and from 3pm – 4pm
