Quarantine the Senate!
Donald and Melania Trump have tested positive for COVID-19.
So has Republican Senator Mike Lee of Utah, who spent the week meeting with members of the White House and Senate Judiciary Committee about jamming one more ultraconservative Justice onto the Supreme Court.
Who else has it? I don’t know. And that’s the problem.
SIGN NOW: The Senate must quarantine, and all members and staff who work in the US Capitol complex must be tested immediately. This is a matter of life and death.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has said he remains “full speed ahead” on his mission to pack Amy Coney Barrett onto the Supreme Court before the election. This is a menace to public health.
We must have a total and complete shutdown of the Senate until we figure out what’s going on. Members must quarantine.
We cannot allow our government to become a vector for this disease.
