Ramadan Practice Series

Join Queer Crescent this Ramadan as we practice remembrance. Grounded in Islamic thought and politicized healing modalities, these online gatherings are shaped by the wisdoms of Muslim dhikr, somatic embodiment, and political education. Together we will practice rooting into our innate and collective knowledge of the divine, the sacred, and the just, refreshing our commitment towards liberation, inshaAllah.
What does it mean to practice?
Working with the statement "you are what you practice” we are creating a space of repeated, intentional practice to become the leaders and community members we want to be, to remember our innate wisdom and to reconnect to purpose.
This will be a facilitated online space where QC community can come together and practice reflection and resilience through embodied practices like dhikr, meditation, somatics, journaling and more. It will be a space of belonging and connection as well as a Queering of what daily practice and observance could look like.
