Recognize Voters
The reason voter recognition is very important is to identify where people are with political beliefs. If we are using CallHub for making calls, we need to use the 1, 2, 3, and 4 systems.
The system helps us see their likability of voting in the NDP in New Brunswick or voting for other parties. The 2 and 3’s resemble ‘unsure’.
If the caller/voter is a 1, it means a high probability of voting for the New Brunswick NDP, if they’re either a 2 or a 3 it means they still have to make up their mind. These people are also willing to get a call back to receive more information. You can ask for their phone number and email address so you can call them or send them email information on the campaign. 4 is ‘Voting for Other Parties. These people regardless of how you try to persuade or convince, are still going to vote for the Conservative Party or other parties. These people might become belligerent or mean when you talk to them so do not even bother with them.
Short form:
1: Voting NDP 2/3: Not Sure/Thinking of it. 4: Voting Other. (You will want to mark this down in the notes section of the CallHub system. Use this section really wisely. It is your best friend. In the notes section you can also include adding the contact's email and phone number for more follow-up contact. )
Do not argue with voters who are '4' on the list it's not worth your energy.
