Restore Voting Rights to Prisoners in Massachusetts

Mass POWER - Massachusetts Prisoners and Organizers Working for Enfranchisement and Restoration - is committed to restoring the #right2vote for people incarcerated in Massachusetts. Voting was a constitutional right for prisoners in Massachusetts until it was stripped away by the legislature in 2000 to stifle prisoner organizing. We recognize that such laws are designed to disenfranchise people of color and that in a democracy voting is a foundational right that is not conditional. Sign up here to lend your support and stay up to date on our efforts to get an amendment on the 2022 ballot that would allow incarcerated people the right to vote in Massachusetts. PLEASE NOTE - you will need to sign a paper form with a Mass POWER volunteer for it to count toward our eligibility for the ballot in 2022.
