RSVP for the #HowManyMore National Call this Sunday: Talking to Your Family About Gaza

Over the last two weeks, 31 Palestinian protesters have been killed and hundreds more have been wounded in Gaza — shot by Israeli troops for doing nothing more than demanding their freedom and an end to the Occupation.

Meanwhile, most Jewish institutions and leaders in the American Jewish establishment have stayed silent. Or worse, local Jewish Community Relations Councils, the Anti-Defamation League and AIPAC endorsed the murder of Palestinians by Israeli troops.

Across the country, young American Jews are rising up and asking “How many more Palestinians have to die?” before our leaders and politicians demand an end to the killings.

Join IfNotNow for a national call this Sunday, April 15th at 7:30pm EST to:

  • Learn first-hand what’s happening in Gaza.
  • Get suggestions for talking to your family and friends about the Occupation and Gaza.
  • Find out what you can do to stop the Israeli military attacks on Palestinians.

Pro-Occupation talking points have dominated the discourse around Gaza for decades. On this call, we'll go over the basics of Gaza as well as how to meaningfully engage with friends and family about it.

Guest Speakers:

GUEST SPEAKERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED HERE AS SOON AS THEY ARE CONFIRMED.

About IfNotNow

IfNotNow is a movement of young American Jews working to transform the American Jewish communities support for the Occupation of Palestine into a call for freedom and dignity for all.

When Israeli troops killed 15 Palestinians at Gaza and wounded hundreds more at a protest, IfNotNow responded by organizing two dozen actions in cities across the United States, demanding our community’s leaders and institutions speak out.

At actions in Boston, New York, and the Twin Cities, 19 of our members have been arrested at sit-ins at Sen. Chuck Schumer’s office, the Jewish Community Relations Council, and the Israeli consulate. In Washington D.C. and Austin, our members read the Mourner’s Kaddish at a synagogue and in front of Jewish institutions for the Palestinian protesters who were killed by Israeli troops.

College students around the nation have also been hosting events, refusing to let silence be the American Jewish community’s response to this senseless violence and asking “How many more” Palestinians have to be killed before leaders speak up.

For too long, our community has acted out of fear, believing that supporting Israel at any cost keeps Jews safe.

To this we ask: How many more? How many more people have to die? How many more families have to be torn apart?

Learn more about IfNotNow and join with the thousands of young Jews demanding an end to the American Jewish establishment's support of the violence in Gaza and the Occupation by registering for the call.
