Sacred Faith | Sacred Freedom: Vote Yes On Issue 1
On or before November 7, Ohioans will go to the polls and vote to permanently protect access to reproductive healthcare in Ohio. People of faith and faith leaders in Ohio must organize and advocate to pass this measure, counter the false narrative that faith does not support abortion access, and advance reproductive rights by voting YES on Issue 1.
Add your name to our faith leader sign-on, pledge to Vote YES in November, and build an Ohio where our reproductive rights are valued and protected.

On or before November 7, Ohioans will go to the polls and vote to permanently protect access to reproductive healthcare in Ohio.
I stand with the overwhelming majority of faithful Ohioans and people of faith across our state who support reproductive health access and denounce the extreme measures leaders in our state have taken to ban abortion. I will vote YES on Issue 1 this November.
Whenever people of faith are faced with complex decisions, they turn to God to determine what their next best step should be. Policy and laws on abortion care should not disrupt people’s ability to discern with God and those they trust about what care they should receive. We believe that patients and their medical providers – not judges or state legislators – are most equipped to make decisions concerning health care. People must be trusted to make their own ethical, moral, and faith-informed decisions about their body, family, and future.
Across our traditions and race, our diverse communities of faith support the right to access reproductive healthcare, including abortion care.
Yet, extremist judges, legislators, and special interests have stripped Ohioans of the right to seek abortion healthcare. Their agenda is an unholy threat to our freedom and our ability to thrive. We will not allow our faith to be hijacked in order to deny people the care they need and desire.
We have the ability to stop them this November by passing Issue 1.
Our faith teaches us that we should be good neighbors who create communities of love and care. As people of faith, it is our calling to protect people’s innate dignity, to respect their moral agency and to be co-creators with God ensuring that everyone has safe, healthy, and sustainable communities where they can thrive.
Together, we will use our voices at the ballot box to make history on November 7. We will vote YES on Issue 1.
