The West Coast is burning. Again. And so is Brazil, Greece, Argentina, Indonesia, and Bulgaria. Climate chaos is not in the distant future. It is here. Government is not acting with the urgency required to address this crisis.

NOW IT’S UP TO US. We’re calling an emergency march on Sunday 9/13, meeting at Battery Park at 1pm. Please join us as we come together to grieve for all that’s been lost - and to turn that grief into action.

Please bring a homemade sign about the climate emergency we're in (examples are "No Planet B" or "Our house is on fire") with the XR hourglass symbol. Come wearing a color (red or orange) or whatever's comfortable for marching.

This is an emergency. If we stand together, crisis does not have to mean collapse.

Note that this march is replacing our previously planned "All Hands On Deck" action. Meet up location and time remain the same.
