Should Al Franken change his mind and stay in the Senate?

Al Franken has announced his resignation from the Senate, triggering a special election in 2018 in Minnesota to replace him. Since then, Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., has called on him to reverse his decision and stay through his elected term, which runs to the 2020 election. Sen. Pat Leahy, D-Vt., has also said he regrets calling for his resignation.

Franken had initially said he planned to stick around and allow the ethics committee in investigate the allegations of improper touching.
