Andrew Cuomo's New York State Democratic Party just endorsed a ban on fusion voting in New York.

This is a direct attack by Andrew Cuomo on the Working Families Party and progressive activists across New York in political retribution for the historic gains we’ve made together over the past year. That's why Cuomo's fusion ban is being opposed by leaders including:

• 2020 Democratic presidential candidates Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren,
• Seventeen members of the New York Congressional Delegation including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rep. Nydia Velazquez, Sen. Chuck Schumer, and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand,
• State Senators Alessandra Biaggi, Robert Jackson, John Liu, Rachel May, Zellnor Myrie, and Jessica Ramos who courageously took on and defeated the IDC last year in Democratic primaries,
• Major progressive organizations including MoveOn, Indivisible, and NARAL,
• And hundreds of progressive elected officials across New York state, including State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli and NYC Public Advocate Jumaane Williams.
