Donald Trump just told CNBC that he is willing to cut Social Security – just four days after President Biden pledged in his State of the Union to oppose cuts and make the wealthy pay their fair share. This sets up one of the top contrasts in 2024 that voters must pay attention to!

Answering a question about Social Security, Trump told CNBC on Monday, March 11 that, “There is a lot you can do in terms of entitlements in terms of cutting,”

In his State of the Union address, Biden said, “Anyone here tries to cut Social Security or Medicare or raise the retirement age, I will stop you…We have two ways to go. Republicans can cut Social Security and give more tax breaks to the wealthy… I'll protect and strengthen Social Security and make the wealthy pay their fair share.”
