We believe in an Ohio that works for everyone. Whether you’re Black, brown, white, born here, or new to our state, we all deserve a fair shot at a good life. But right now, Ohio’s budget isn’t giving everyone that chance.

The rich and powerful have gotten more than their fair share for too long while the rest of us struggle to make ends meet. Our schools, hospitals, and childcare centers don’t have enough money to serve us well. It’s time for change.

We’re calling for a People’s Budget for 2026-27 that puts our needs first. Here’s what we want:

• Support Care Workers Across Ohio

• Make Health Care Work for Everyone

• Decriminalize poverty and mental illness

• Make Higher Education Affordable for All

• Build a Fair Tax System

• Boost jobs and wages

• Expand Access to Healthy, Affordable Food

We support a People’s Budget that truly works for everyone in Ohio, not just the wealthy few. Our movement is dedicated to creating a state where every person, regardless of race or background, has the opportunity to thrive. Together, we can build a future where our schools, healthcare, and communities are fully supported and equitable.
