For too long, the voices of crime survivors have been disregarded. Well, enough is enough.

We urgently need to listen to crime survivors and listen to their stories. We should guide our public safety policy in this country based on the needs and concerns of the crime survivor community. For example, survivors prefer investments in new safety priorities like education and job creation to more spending on prisons and jails by enormous margins.
