After almost a year of back-and-forth, North Carolina Republican legislators have finally been ordered to redraw their state’s unconstitutional, racially gerrymandered districts.

This isn’t the first time the North Carolina GOP has been ordered to redraw the 28 unconstitutional districts, but this time, they have a due date: September 1.

This has gone on long enough. North Carolina Republicans have been playing games with voting rights and human rights for years. Time to get serious.
