NRA Republicans are aiming to make Florida the 26th state to allow people to carry concealed loaded guns without permits, background checks, or safety training.

If it takes a permit and training to drive a car, it should take a permit and training to to carry a gun.

States that have allowed permitless carry have seen increases in firearm homicides, as well as thefts of poorly secured weapons.

Gun owners and non-gun owners agree: A 2022 Marquette University Law Poll shows 68% of American gun owners and 87% of non-gun owners oppose permitless carry.
