ALEC and the corporate sponsors who fund them have been responsible for a host of right-wing extremist legislation in recent years, such as creating Stand Your Ground gun laws, pushing racist voter ID laws, rolling back environmental protections, crushing unions, black listing companies with sustainable and inclusive business practices, criminalizing protest, and gutting access to reproductive healthcare.
