At the end of March, 5,000 Jews will take to the street at the AIPAC Policy Conference for the largest demonstration of #JewishResistance in a generation. AIPAC, The American Israel Public Affairs Committee, has served as a symbol of Occupation in America for over 50 years. And now, AIPAC has invited the Trump administration to their annual policy conference. IfNotNow rejects AIPAC’s legacy of supporting occupation, we reject their cozying up to political leadership that puts Jews and other marginalized groups at danger. It is time to resist, it is time to join the #JewishResistance.

Leading up to this massive demonstration, hundreds of Resistance Circles will be forming around the country to bring in thousands of people who want to take action with IfNotNow and recruit their friends and family to do the same. Resistance circles will be made up of 7-10 people who will meet weekly leading up to our AIPAC demonstrations.

Resistance circles will learn together about IfNotNow, its strategy and the power of nonviolent civil disobedience. Members of these circles will also build relationships with one another and provide each other with the support to rise up and resistance together.  Finally, Resistance Circles will take action together both privately and publicly; together Circle members will develop the tools to put on phone banks to bring people to AIPAC, to have shabbat dinners, and plan small actions. Each Circle of Resistance has the power to bring hundreds of more people into this movement.

We are looking for people from cities across the country to both host and join these Resistance Circles. All hosts for these circles will receive a developed curriculum for their Circles and will be set up with a Coach who will provide them with support in carrying out their Circles.
